Someday, maybe I'll write a hectic, jam-packed post about all the goings on of the last several months, with reflective bits about my conflicted experience of online activity, and sweet bits about how the children have grown, and all kinds of other bits about spring and summer, rest and travel and school and . . . .
But, honestly, at this point all that catch-up and explanation is just creating a giant writer's block.
So, I'll just share today's project.
May you know the abiding peace that comes with believing ~
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end.
Lamentations 3:22
Inspiration for this project came from Dana Tanamachi's amazing chalk creations.
Bravo Laura! This is great! How long did this take you? It's lovely. Love to know where you found this chalk board? Really like the look, the frame.
ReplyDeletePs...I hear you and your conflicted experience with online activity. Love to hear about your thoughts about it.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Madelyn--The chalkboard is just a board I bought at Lowe's and painted with chalkboard paint. I had the frame from years ago. It took me an hour or so to write the verse. Maybe we can catch each other at church...or maybe I'll write and post about my conflicted life...but, see, that's the problem. It's so ironic to post online about how you are conflicted about posting online. I don't know if I can stand that much irony.
ReplyDeleteThis is absolutely beautiful, Laura!
ReplyDeleteGreat job Laura. I too like Dana's work. The large boards are incredible. Do I hear the beginnings of an "I hesitate posting, posting club?" I'm in.
